Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 12-15 minutes
Total Time: 22-25 minutes
Servings: 2
Intensity: Moderate
Ingredients:
- 2 sea bass fillets (about 6-8 ounces each), skin-on or skinless
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- Lemon wedges, for serving
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare Sea Bass:
- Pat dry the sea bass fillets with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a seasoning mixture.
- Brush both sides of the sea bass fillets with the seasoning mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Air Fry Sea Bass:
- Place the seasoned sea bass fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down if applicable, in a single layer without overcrowding.
- Air fry the sea bass at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets. The fish should be opaque and easily flaked with a fork when done.
- Check Doneness:
- To check if the sea bass is cooked, insert a fork into the thickest part of the fillet and gently twist. The fish should flake easily and be opaque all the way through.
- Serve:
- Once cooked, carefully remove the air-fried sea bass from the air fryer basket.
- Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the sea bass fillets for added flavor.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
- Serve the air-fried sea bass hot with your favorite sides, such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a salad.
Note: Cooking times may vary depending on the thickness of the sea bass fillets and your air fryer model. Adjust cooking time as needed to ensure the fish is cooked through but not overcooked.
Enjoy your crispy and flavorful air-fried sea bass!
