Bacon-Wrapped Air Fryer Hot Dogs

Ingredients:

  • 4 hot dog sausages (beef, pork, chicken, or your choice)
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • Desired condiments (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, etc.)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Wrap Hot Dogs with Bacon:
    • Take each hot dog sausage and wrap a slice of bacon around it, ensuring the bacon covers the entire length of the hot dog. You can secure the bacon with toothpicks if needed.
  3. Air Fry Bacon-Wrapped Hot Dogs:
    • Place the bacon-wrapped hot dogs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them for air circulation.
    • Air fry the hot dogs at 390°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through cooking, until the bacon is crispy and the hot dogs are cooked through.
  4. Toast Hot Dog Buns:
    • While the hot dogs are cooking, you can optionally toast the hot dog buns. Place them in the air fryer basket for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking time until they are lightly toasted.
  5. Assemble Hot Dogs:
    • Once the bacon-wrapped hot dogs are cooked to your liking and the buns are toasted, remove them from the air fryer.
    • Carefully remove the toothpicks if used.
    • Place each bacon-wrapped hot dog in a toasted bun.
  6. Add Condiments:
    • Add your favorite condiments to the hot dogs, such as ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, or any other toppings you prefer.
  7. Serve Hot:
    • Serve the bacon-wrapped air fryer hot dogs immediately while they are hot and the bacon is crispy.

Note: Keep an eye on the hot dogs towards the end of cooking to prevent the bacon from burning. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on the thickness of the bacon and your air fryer model.
