Pineaaple in puff pastry in air fryer

Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 20 minutes
Recipe Intensity: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed according to package instructions)
  • 1/2 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored, and sliced into rings or chunks
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • Optional: Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  3. Brush the melted butter onto the puff pastry sheet.
  4. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered puff pastry.
  5. Cut the puff pastry sheet into squares or rectangles, depending on the size of your pineapple slices or chunks.
  6. Place a pineapple slice or chunk onto each piece of puff pastry.
  7. Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the pineapple to form a pocket or parcel. Press the edges gently to seal.
  8. Place the pineapple-filled puff pastry parcels in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between them.
  9. Air fry the pineapple in puff pastry parcels at 375°F (190°C) for about 8-10 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and crispy.
  10. Once done, remove the parcels from the air fryer and let them cool slightly.
  11. Serve the pineapple in puff pastry parcels warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream on top for a delicious dessert.

Note: Keep an eye on the puff pastry parcels while air frying to prevent them from getting too browned. Adjust the cooking time if needed based on your air fryer’s performance.

Enjoy your homemade pineapple in puff pastry, a delightful and easy-to-make dessert that’s perfect for any occasion!
