Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Recipe Intensity: Moderate

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • Cooking spray or oil spray

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned and cooked through. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked beef. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onions are softened.
  4. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to taste. Remove the skillet from heat and set aside.
  5. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and yellow mustard to create the Big Mac sauce.
  6. Place the flour tortillas on a clean surface. Spoon the cooked ground beef mixture onto each tortilla.
  7. Sprinkle shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced pickles, and diced onions over the beef mixture on each tortilla.
  8. Drizzle the Big Mac sauce over the toppings on each tortilla.
  9. Fold the sides of the tortillas over the fillings, creating a taco shape.
  10. Lightly coat the air fryer basket with cooking spray or oil spray.
  11. Place the assembled tacos in the air fryer basket in a single layer, seam side down.
  12. Air fry the tacos at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-15 minutes, or until the tortillas are crispy and golden brown.
  13. Once done, remove the tacos from the air fryer and sprinkle sesame seeds on top (if using).
  14. Serve the Big Mac tacos hot with additional Big Mac sauce on the side for dipping, if desired.

Note: Cooking times may vary depending on the size and thickness of your tortillas and the efficiency of your air fryer. Keep an eye on the tacos towards the end of cooking to prevent burning.

Enjoy your delicious and unique Big Mac tacos made in the air fryer!
